Sean Shultz has proudly called Carlisle home for more than 25 years, ever since arriving to attend Penn State Dickinson Law. What began as a journey into the legal profession quickly evolved into a deep and lasting bond with the community where he and his wife are raising their son and daughter. Over the years, Sean has built a life rooted in service, advocacy, and leadership. Now serving as Mayor, he brings a unique blend of local insight, professional experience, and a heartfelt dedication to the people of Carlisle. His decisions are shaped by the values of transparency, inclusion, and a belief that government should work for everyone.
As Mayor, Sean has put his experience to work by leading efforts that make Carlisle stronger and more inclusive. He’s championed affordable housing, improved neighborhood quality of life, and secured millions in grant funding to revitalize infrastructure and transform old industrial sites. His fiscally responsible approach has kept taxes below inflation while expanding vital services. He is driven by a sincere love of Carlisle. Whether supporting small businesses or protecting Carlisle’s natural beauty, Sean is focused on building a community where everyone can thrive.
